Dany the mum is the owner of this lovely studio, she lives on site and so are her children that have their houses on the same land. Grand children are running from one house to another and so does the cat. But they won't disturb your privacy, your accommodation is fully yours for the time of your stay.
You also have an enclosed parking spot reserved for you.
There is no washing machine in this apartment however, laundry facility is offered for a fee.
The housekeeper will change your linens once a week and take care of the cleaning at the same time.

THE LOCATION
Nested at the heart of a family compound in the residential area, a car is highly recommended to get to the beach, to supermarket, restaurants ect, but the appartment is not too far to the main road for you to catch public transport. All amenities are only 2 to 10 km radius. Tamarin Village is on the west coast of Mauritus, in the Black River district that is well developed yet still authentic, showcasing the last traditional salt pans of the island. Tamarin Bay is also famous amongst the surfers and appreciated by all for its fine sandy beach and friendly atmosphere. All the facilities are available in this area, sports centres, medical, shops, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. SELF-CATERING
Although your rental includes cleaning service once a week (excluding bank holidays and weekends) your accommodation rental is Self-Catering and you are therefore responsible to maintain and return it clean. You will be supplied with arrival essentials (toilet paper, trash bag, hand soap, cleaning products, etc) but it is for you to purchase and replace as you consume. |
CHILDREN ARE PEOPLE TOO! Equipped only for 2 people sharing, the property is not secured for young children; however under you own supervision and responsibility, we are welcoming to everyone including young guests. Still, we cannot provide free accommodations for children OF ANY AGE. We love children and welcome yours but all fees and total number of guest limit apply, this also in compliance with accommodation law and insurance. Baby Cots for under 2 years old are available on request. Please specify number of children and their age when getting in touch pre-booking. TROPICAL ISLAND = TROPICAL BUGS
They are tiny and armless, still mosquitoes can be a pest and our local geckoes are not enough to chase them all. While for in-door/out-door the plug-in or coil mosquito repellent are effective, we recommend you use anti-mosquito cream to freely move around, specifically in summer and from dusk. Having the privilege to live in this region of the island still somewhat preserved and authentic, where the fauna and flora have kept some rights; we share the place with the local animals and insects whose habitats surround us. Inhabitants of sanitized cities, be reassured, the island is pacifist and its small animals too! |
CAR IS ESSENTIAL
Despite how much you like walking and wish to experience the public transport, we strongly recommend you rent a car to feel free to come and go visiting the marvels the island as to offer. Of course the property comes with free parking for your car.
